JELAIR "OTTO for ships" (maritime autopilot for FS2004 ships)
This is a gauge for FS2004 ships (get ships from http://fs-shipyards.com )
It has 6 buttons placed in 2 horisontal rows:
The first row consists of 3 buttons that are also LCD-displays.
From left to right they display:
#1: autopilot ground-speed in knots (not indicated airspeed, but ground-speed)
#2: autopilot heading (the direction you want to sail)
#3: GPS-tracker (so you can set up a flightplan with waypoints and sail it)
Button 1 and 2 are clickable (switching the autopilot ON and OFF (there are no master-arm on the autopilot))
The second row, at the bottom, consists of 3 arrow-buttons (arrows pointing left and right)
All 3 are clickable.
From left to right:
#1: autopilot speed selector (increase or decrease the speed you want to hold (the actual speed your ship will hold may differ up to 5 or 10 knots from your selection))
#2: autopilot heading selector (the compass-heading to sail)
#3: GPS-tracker (it works just like the GPS nav-mode in normal FS-aircraft. When you switch it ON, the ship will 'fly' the flightplan you have created in the flightplanner (ie go from waypoint to waypoint))
that's it :)
(Just try it out, its very easy to use)
